In Unveiled, I used layers of soft neutrals, warm ochres, subtle pinks and deep dark marks, building and removing paint until fragments of earlier layers began to emerge. The painting is about memory, but also about the pieces of our lives that quietly become part of who we are. Some remain visible. Others are buried beneath the surface. But they are still there.
