Tres Hermanos

At the center of Three Amigos, three small orange marks hover—quiet, vulnerable, and luminous. They stand as fragile points of presence amid a field of movement, turmoil, and unrest. Around them, the surface churns with layered gestures, fractured rhythms, and unsettled energy, evoking confusion, instability, and emotional noise. These three marks represent myself and my siblings during our childhood—small, exposed, and bound together—trying to remain visible and intact within an environment that felt overwhelming and unpredictable. The surrounding motion presses in from all sides, threatening to absorb or erase them, yet the orange persists, glowing with resilience and connection.

This painting is not a literal narrative but an emotional one: a memory held in color and movement, where survival is expressed through endurance rather than clarity, and where even in chaos, a shared center remains.
